American Public Health Association
The oldest and largest organization of public health professionals in

Association of Independent Research Institutes
A nationwide association of independent, not-for-profit research institutes

The California Endowment
Created
in 1996 as a result of Blue Cross of California's creation of WellPoint
Health Networks, a for-profit corporation, The California Endowment

The California Wellness Foundation
Created
in 1992 as a result of Health Net’s conversion from nonprofit
to for-profit status the foundation improves the health of the people
of California by making grants for health promotion, wellness education
and
disease prevention.
Center for Law and the Public’s
Health
Promoting public health through law, the center is a national resource
on public health law, ethics, and policy for public health practitioners,
lawyers, legisaltors, policy-makers, and others.
Center for the Advancement of Health

The lead federal agency for protecting the health and safety of people
