A brief on the results of the 2007 California Women's Health Survey highlights its finding that years in the U.S. is not a associated with a decline in fruit and vegetable consumption among women who are Mexican-American immigrants.

The 2007 California Women's Health Survey (CWHS) was administered to 5,352 women. From the total sample, 1,819 women (34.2 percent) identified themselves as Hispanic. Responses were weighted in these analyses by age and race/ethnicity to reflect the 2000 California adult female population.
