Infographic: Key Facts about Women, Children and Adolescent Health in Nigeria

In Nigeria, one in thirty women dies during pregnancy or childbirth--and about one in five infants die before their first birthday. Limited access to health services contributes to an adolescent birth rate of 79%. 73% of girls ages 13-19 are married in Northern Nigeria. PHI's Champions for Change aims to tackle these inequities by bringing together public and private sector stakeholders to advance the needed life-saving health care delivery for marginalized women, newborns, children, and youth.
