Improving the health and well-being of Asian and Pacific Islanders
The Targeted Expansion Project for Outreach and Treatment 2 (TEPOT 2) is a health education and promotion project that targets Asian and Pacific Islander (API) men who have sex with men (MSM) and who reside or work in Alameda and San Francisco counties. The TEPOT 2 project is a collaboration of three agencies: Public Health Institute, Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center, and Asian Community Mental Health Services, and the targeted API MSM community members.
TEPOT 2 Provides:
The TEPOT 2 Project will provide Motivational Enhancement Intervention (MEI) and Brief Intervention (BI) by using motivational interviewing techniques to reduce substance use and HIV-related sexual risk behaviors for the targeted API MSM.
