The Public Health Institute manages a fellowship program for The Health Trust of Santa Clara County (THT), which supports healthy eating and healthy aging activities in low-income neighborhoods of Santa Clara and northern San Benito counties. Fellows are PHI employees who work directly with THT staff at the THT offices, providing expertise and operations support for THT’s core programs. PHI provides Fellows with guidance and professional development opportunities. Evaluation of the 2016 Fellows revealed that they were all highly rated by The Health Trust.
