Position Summary
C/NET Solutions is a program fiscally sponsored by the Public Health Institute (PHI). C/NET Solutions’ CNExT Cancer Registry software is used by Cancer Registrars for meeting mandated cancer reporting as well as analysis of the cancer population at their medical center. Together with our Cancer Alert System, efficiency in identifying and reporting of cancer is realized. We meet HIPAA and security regulations and allow remote access. All C/NET Solutions software can be run in mixed technology environments where the highest standards in database security or remote access are required.
The Programmer Analyst I position is responsible for directed tasks in the implementation, testing, customization, and support of all product lines. Similar responsibilities for infrastructure programming and for conversion of customer data. This position reports directly to the Programmer Analyst Manager.
This is a full-time remote position. Candidates in the United States are welcome to apply. The incumbent must be able to work at least 6 core hours during the hours of 0500-1900 Pacific Time with the ability to occasionally work more than 40 hours a week and on weekends. Travel may be required for team gathering at least once a year.
Full pay range for this position: $ 40.47 to $ 59.81 per hour. The typical hiring range for this position is from $ 40.47 (minimum) to $ 50.14 (midpoint) per hour. The starting wage is determined using a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity consideration and budget availability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Write software to specifications in Delphi and SQL. Occasional work in C++, HTML, scripting languages (PHP or equivalent) and other languages.
- Create and update software customizations to others’ specifications.
- Provide customer support to support staff.
- Write documentation of systems and procedures.
- Assist in conversion of customer data.
- Minor design responsibilities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of programming experience required (Delphi, C++, and/or Java languages).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or substitute with four additional years of related work experience.
Other Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, XML.
- Good customer service skills, and ability to communicate accurately, courteously, and appropriately with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with all components of Microsoft Office, preferred.
