- The California Academic Health Department

The California Academic Health Department (CAHD) project, a program of Public Health Institute’s Center for Health Leadership and Impact is working closely with local health departments to build a stronger public health workforce through a pipeline of diverse public health graduates into LHDs. CAHD will expand and deepen connections between Alliance SPPHs and LHDs through 4 core activities: (1) full-time one-year post graduate residencies; (2) student internships; (3) providing professional support and development; and (4) exchanges of faculty from Alliance SPPHs and LHDs.
