Cohn: Body Is Vulnerable to Environmental Toxins During Certain Periods of Development

In an article in the international journal Nature, PHI epidemiologist Barbara Cohn addresses links her studies have found between cancer and carcinogenic chemicals people are exposed to during particularly vulnerable times in their development. These "windows of susceptibility" occur during gestation, puberty, pregnancy and after giving birth.
