Image for Creating Healthier Cities in California

PHI’s Center for Civic Partnerships ran the California Healthy Cities Project (CHCP), the largest and longest running statewide program of its kind in the U.S.

CHCP worked with hundreds of local leaders and city governments to improve their communities in the areas of safety, healthy aging, nutrition and physical activity and more.

CHCP received the National Coalition Award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
