In 2017, the interactive Global Health Leaders website received two prestigious awards: the Horizon Interactive Award for Advocacy/Non-Profit websites and an “Award of Excellence” from the 2017 Communicator Awards.
The website features testimonies from the fellows on the blog, as well as video interviews from PHI CEO Mary Pittman and Medtronic Foundation Senior Operations Manager Wade Jones. The website is meant to engage other, fellowship and leadership development programs and future corporate partners as GHL continues to grow and expand their work to prevent noncommunicable chronic diseases across the globe.
