As the pandemic continues, people are spending more time in their homes–and housing conditions have never been more important. This is especially vital for those with asthma. Sheltering in place can mean increased exposure to indoor asthma triggers like pests and mold, while COVID safety protocols could limit or delay inspections, repairs and other services.

Additionally, asthma stakeholders may be interested in a presentation on housing preservation policies that can be used to improve housing conditions, a discussion on equitably electrifying buildings (including reducing the use of natural gas), and a training covering tenants’ rights and code enforcement strategies related to indoor air quality.
