Webinar: Making the Case for Public Health: Framing & Language Recommendations

Wednesday, June 22,
10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern

In states across the country, the essential work of public health is under attack through legislation or lawsuits.

To defend and protect the role of public health in our society, public health practitioners, researchers, and supporters increasingly need to know how to effectively communicate the importance of well-resourced public health infrastructure. Experts also need to be able to describe the devastating consequences for our society if public health is weakened.

The last few years have been immensely challenging for communities around the globe—in some cases, setting back public health gains by years or decades. But these last few years have also demonstrated what works: Sustained investments in communities, health and equity, and policy change to support them. Now is the time to strengthen these successes, to ensure that no community falls behind.
