Access to high-quality, affordable health care is critical. Yet health is also heavily determined by factors outside the doctor’s office, from housing and safety to education and employment. Everyone has a stake and a role in improving health. PHI brings together a broad cross-section of partners to ensure successful collaboration between public health, health care and community development practitioners—all working to advance community health and health equity together. PHI specializes in building local, statewide, and national networks that unite community leaders, partners, innovators, funders and health professionals to explore new tools and practices, and to develop pioneering solutions.
