About State of Equity’s CCORE

CCORE is a community of California state government and organizational movement leaders integrating racial equity into institutional culture, policies and practices. State of Equity launched CCORE in 2018 in support of a commitment by the California Health in All Policies (HiAP) Task Force to increase the capacity of state entities to advance health and racial equity.

So far, over 40 state organizations and 400 government employees have participated in CCORE’s cohorts to support learning, planning, peer-exchange and implementation of new institutional practices to advance racial equity.
